The hotel Merkur is situated conveniently directly opposite Interlaken-West railway station and in the heart of the main shopping area of the Interlaken. It welcomes you to its friendly atmosphere.The hotel has quite a large terrace restaurant where guests can dine when the weather is fine as well as another snack restaurant inside which is popular with the locals. The other restaurant is situated towards the back of the hotel. It is decorated in a more elegant style but maintains the traditional Swiss feel which prevails throughout. The food served in all the restaurants is a combination of of Swiss and European. The exterior of the building is modern in design. The lobby is small and narrow but warmly decorated with a small seating area to one side. This hotel is suitable for all guests.
