Located right in the heart of the capital, on the Pest side close to the River Danube and the town's unique nightlife. The hotel itself has a long history, dating back over 100 years but the actual building was closed in 1976 and totally restored, reopening 1985. It now has a modern exterior and is situated on a busy downtown street. As this is an old property guest-rooms vary slightly in size but are comfortable and in good condition. Bathrooms are clean, modern and bright. The hotel has two restaurants and the 'Janos' beer cellar situated in the basement, is one of the most famous nightspots in Budapest, with a spectacular decor and lively atmosphere.
